Sports, Arts, and Entertainment

Hello, I'm Elijah Wilson
Hello, My name is Elijah Wilson. I am currently a fourth-year student attending Point Park University studying towards my Bachelor of Science in Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management. I'm from the small town of Mount Pleasant in southwestern Pennsylvania. Music is my life, whether it's listening to my favorite playlist while getting work done or performing in front of an audience, music has always been my passion. I’ve been around music since I can remember and translate my dedication to that into all of my work.
Whether it be managing, producing, or performing, my dream is to make it big in the entertainment industry. I want to help people through music and be an inspiration for others to follow in their passions. I have always been one to take the lead when needed, being the treasurer for both my high school’s Tri-M and Band councils going on to later be the president of both. I am good at following instructions and eager to finish my work efficiently. Most recently, I have worked with a local Pittsburgh artist to help draft and produce a social media-based marketing plan. I also had the pleasure of shadowing the Dean of the Conservatory of Performing Arts Steven Breese. During that time I got the opportunity to sit in on multiple production meetings for the Pittsburgh Playhouse’s upcoming production of “Passing Strange”. I reach my goals through my hard work and understanding of my peers. I will work diligently no matter my position to better the environment around me.
